Well, it's coloured. I don't like it as much as I like the Brittany pic. Not sure exactly what's up with this one. Line work's in my scraps if anyone want's to re-colour it.
EDIT: I took =Coelasquid's suggestions and went with a bluer background. Messed around with the hue and saturation. Came out with something purple. I think it works pretty well, which surprised me, because there's already so much purple in her costume.
It may just be the olive green background, because the colouring on the character is great. I dunno what to suggest though... maybe blue? Brittany's was pink and that's the predoniminant colour in her scheme most of the time, so the same idea could work with Jeanette.
Thanks, I think I'll try that. I actually had a lot of trouble deciding on the background colour so it makes sense. Also the colour of her glasses keeps bugging me too. I might change that as well.

I always have trouble thinking of what to do with backgroungs, I hate it. usually I end up doing a sloppy speed painting of a screenshot from whatever movie or game the character is from.
I really like the skin tone, by the way. She looks a little darker than Brittany, I think it adds some nice variety.
I noticed the same thing, that her skin tone seems darker. I wish I could take credit for that, but it's just our minds playing tricks on us. I plucked her skin colour straight from Brittany, yet somehow it comes off cooler.
It's maaaagic!!!

I don't have a problem with canon, non-canon, straight, gay or any other of that nonsense. I have a problem with incest but as long as it isn't real life & it is drawn well I will pretend that they're not related for the sake of a job well done. Love wins
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
